Steve Harmison was today challenged to recapture his stunning form of five years ago - or risk being left out of the team for next week's First Test against West Indies.

The Durham fast bowler briefly topped the world rankings on the back of his demolition of the Windies' batting line-up in 2004, which included a career-best seven for 12 at Sabina Park, but has been warned he cannot live off past glories.

England assistant coach Andy Flower said: "I don't think form five years ago has a bearing on picking the side. You make a judgement about the pitch and form now. There is a healthy competition. We have our ideas of what the side might be, but fast-bowling places are up for grabs."

Harmison will be joined today's second warm-up match, against West Indies 'A' in Jamaica, by seamers Ryan Sidebottom and James Anderson, but Andrew Flintoff's side injury means he will not be risked, with the First Test starting on 4 February.
