Huddlestone lined up to be Bullard's replacement

Tom Huddlestone could be on his way to Fulham after Roy Hodgson earmarked the Tottenham midfielder as a replacement for Jimmy Bullard.

The £14million arrival of Wilson Palacios at White Hart Lane, coupled with the form of Luka Modric, Jamie O'Hara and Didier Zokora, has pushed Huddlestone down the pecking order.

The 22-year-old made an excellent start under Harry Redknapp but has struggled to recapture that form and Fulham are ready to bid £3m.

Hodgson needs to strengthen in midfield, having sold Bullard to Hull for £5m.

Redknapp remains interested in bringing Robbie Keane back to the club from Liverpool but is thought to be reluctant to include winger Aaron Lennon as part of a deal.

Fulham, meanwhile, will have to offer £5m to prise 19-year-old midfielder Fabian Delph from Leeds United.

Quality? Buy him back? I go every week Tom is overated. One good pass in 5/6, can't/won't tackle.Never tracks back is slow, so never attacks the box. 3 Mil bite Fulham's hand off! as for the the other so called Spurs fans get down the Lane and make your own minds up, instead of believing the hype.

I cannot believe we have signed Palacios for between £12 - 14 million to then sell the vastly superior Huddlestone to Fulham for only £3 million! Oh yes, I know, we will buy him back next season for £13 million, silly me, I nearly forgot our new transfer stratedgy is try to fool everyone into thinking we dont know what we are doing. Harry its top 4 we want, not bottom 4!

Yes Thames Trader - I agree with you, They have so many players now, it would be nothing short of generous to relieve their wage bill for them... but I would only go to £5M

3m is a joke, the boy has quality and must be worth 6m minimum.

3Mill when a Leeds player would cost 5mill. Get real. Proven Prem player that Spurs should be looking to keep.
