Solberg is back in action as he launches own team

12 Feb 2009

Petter Solberg has set up his own team after Subaru's decision to quit the world rally championship left the Norwegian without a drive.

The 2003 world champion missed the season-opener in Ireland but will compete in this weekend's Rally Norway in a 2006 specification Citroen Xsara.

If all goes well he will contest the rest of the championship and said: "This is a dream come true. I've wanted to put together my own team for a long time."
