No return: David Beckham has said it would be difficult to go back to LA Galaxy

It’d be hard to go back to LA, says Beckham

16 Feb 2009

David Beckham admits he would find it hard to go back to LA Galaxy.

The England midfielder, who is on loan at AC Milan until 9 March, wants to stay in Italy even though the Major League Soccer side are keen for him to return.

The Galaxy announced on Friday an MLS-imposed deadline had not been met and said they expect Beckham to report back to the club when his loan spell ends.

But Beckham, 33, said: "I know it will be difficult to go back after everything that's happened. I've said I want to stay at Milan and I haven't changed my mind, but it's out of my hands."

The midfielder could not stop his side losing 2-1 to Inter Milan in last night's derby. He was forced off 10 minutes into the second half with a slight hamstring injury.

Why hasn't this overrated player got thwe backbone to return to LA Galaxy and homour his lucrative contract. He will end up spending millions of his own money making it look like Milan really want him, when they don't need him at all.

Beckham's going back to LA. AC Milan only offered 3 million to LA for him. He's worth at least 5 times more than that to LA even if he leaves on a free at the end of the year. He needs to deal with it, cease his petulant whining, and stop playing the "victim" card.
