Frustration: Kenny Jackett's side conceded two late goals against Stockport

Jackett still eyes promotion despite frustrating lapse

16 Feb 2009

Kenny Jackett is planning changes for tomorrow's clash with Swindon after Millwall blew a two-goal lead at Stockport.

Izale McLeod's brace had put Jackett's team in command at play-off hopefuls' County.

But the visitors switched off in the final 11 minutes and threw away two points that would have moved them level in the League One table with third-placed Peterborough.

A disappointing afternoon was capped by the dismissal of winger David Martin, who now misses the visit of fifth-bottom Swindon to The Den.

Jackett said: "I'm frustrated but there's a lot of games left and it's up to me to continue to try and find the right equation on the pitch. I still have every confidence in my lads to go on a run that will get us promotion."

Leyton Orient manager Geraint Williams believes his side showed the composure needed to haul themselves out of trouble in the single-goal victory over Crewe that came courtesy of Stephen Purches' early strike.

Williams said: "The attitude was really positive. At the end they still wanted to play good football in the middle of the park when perhaps it was time to see the game out."
