Loach calls on Watford to keep Cup spirit

Scott Loach has challenged his Watford team-mates to turn in the same level of performance against Swansea as they did against Chelsea in the FA Cup.

Brendan Rodgers' side showed plenty of fight against their Premier League rivals on Saturday, even taking the lead before sliding to a 3-1 defeat.

And England Under-21 goalkeeper Loach (right) wants them to start playing in the same manner to pull themselves clear of the Championship relegation battle. He said: "We treat every game the same, whether we've got Chelsea or Swansea. Whoever we've got we put in the right approach and at the minute every game is a big match for us.

"What we've been doing is working very, very hard and the lads have showed it on the pitch and we're very close to being back up there again.

"We showed against a top Premier League team for 75 minutes what we can do, if we can go into every game with that performance and attitude then there's no reason why we can't put two or three wins together. It's very close this league but we've definitely got the ability to be higher up."

Hopefully we will carry on where we left off against Chelsea. However, please drop the woeful Jobi McEnough. Defensively he is simply awful, often caught out of position & jumping around when he should be tackling. This was capped off by a poor miss when we were 2-1 down!
