Williams has inspired us, says Tamika

23 Feb 2009

Leyton Orient goalscorer Tamika Mkandawire is loving life under the new manager Geraint Williams.

Mkandawire secured a 1-0 win over Hartlepool as the club fight against relegation and said: "The boys are working harder now that Geraint is here.

"In training we are working as a defensive unit and everyone knows their job. We are putting bodies on the line, but also getting a bit of luck."

Millwall desperately need three points against Cheltenham tomorrow after a 1-0 defeat against Brighton put their play-off place in jeopardy.

Boss Kenny Jackett said: "We've had a winless run with very tight games that have gone against us and we have to come through that."

Jordan Rhodes celebrated his extended loan spell with a goal in the 2-0 win over Rochdale.

The Ipswich player will stay for another two months and said: "I'm delighted to put on a Brentford shirt, that's what it is all about."

Dagenham keeper Tony Roberts made a late penalty save to earn a 0-0 draw at Accrington.

"We have got 14 games left and it is a dream for this club to be talked about as play-off contenders," said boss John Still.
