Promotion push: Mikele Leigertwood thinks that if QPR can put a good run of form together they can still make the play-offs

Leigertwood is confident Rangers can hit play-offs

Mikele Leigertwood believes Queens Park Rangers can still make the play-offs even though they have won just twice in their last 10 matches.

Despite this form, Rangers remain just six points away from the crucial sixth spot.

Tonight they host Norwich knowing a win could provide the catalyst for them to challenge the division's promotion hopefuls.

"Every game from now on is big for us," said midfielder Leigertwood. "We need to show the form we have in the past to rack up points. The play-offs are still achievable, definitely. We are still there or thereabouts.

"We have one game in hand, too, so if we can put another good run together and try to pick up more wins than draws, there is no reason why we cannot get there."

Boss Paulo Sousa must decide whether to stick with his strikeforce of Heidar Helguson and Dexter Blackstock or revert to a 4-5-1 formation.
