Samit Patel has been dropped from England's Twenty20 and oneday leg of the Caribbean tour after ignoring "repeated warnings" over his fitness.
The Kent all-rounder, 24, is currently with the England Lions in New Zealand.
ECB managing director Hugh Morris said: "It is extremely frustrating that Samit has not heeded the warnings of national selector Geoff Miller."
