Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has told his tired players they must lift themselves to repel another high-tempo assault at Bolton tomorrow.

Hodgson admitted his team looked weary and jaded in their midweek defeat against Blackburn, and his fear is that Fulham could be dragged down into another relegation fight if they fade again at the Reebok Stadium.

Still without an away win in the League this season, Hodgson said: "Against Blackburn, we had a good warning of what's to come on Saturday. Bolton are also a team that pressurise the ball well and get it forward very early.

"They use the strength and height of their front players. We'll have to deal with that."

A rib injury is likely to rule Aaron Hughes out of the trip to Bolton but Bobby Zamora (hip) is likely to return.
