Tiger ends Australia exile and banks £2m sweetener
19 Mar 2009Tiger Woods has sealed a £2.1million fee to play in Australia for the first time in a decade.
The world No1 will compete at the Australian Masters at Kingston Heath in Melbourne in November and Aussie golfer Stuart Appleby said: "There's a lot of people hurting here, and they might look negatively at the fee. They might not see the money he brings in."

I realise Tiger's foundation makes a huge charitable contribution, but goodness, £2.1m just to turn up. That's simply ridiculous.
