Under-21 call for Walcott and Lennon
19 Mar 2009Theo Walcott and Aaron Lennon were today called up for the England Under-21 friendlies against Norway and France.
Arsenal winger Walcott has only just recovered from a shoulder injury and could still be called up for senior duty.
Fabio Capello's side have a friendly against Slovakia on 28 March and a World Cup qualifier against Ukraine the following Wednesday, with the Under-21s playing the day before each game.
Joe Hart, Michael Mancienne, Micah Richards and David Wheater are also included along with Lennon, who has been in impressive form for Tottenham.
