Also: ESPN, the American sports network that has won the rights to 46 Premier League matches next season, will set up a new stand-alone channel to screen the games as it seeks to build a powerful presence in UK sport.

How come there's been no headlines about how many teams are still in contention for multiple team trophies this year? Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are all still in with a shout on at least a double of some sort. I would have thought this a major football story! I'm a MUFC fan, but that doesn't stop me from being riveted to the football news BECAUSE of the level of competition and the drama still to come this season.
The most that is seen is stories about individual teams, never about the combined whole who are still in contention for the lot!
