Wasps start to rebuild after French exodus

London Wasps are set to sign England wing Tom Varndell and Steve Kefu, the Australian test centre, as they rebuild their squad following the defection of three players to French clubs next season.
The reigning Premiership champions have reacted to the departures of Tom Palmer and James Haskell to Stade Francais and Riki Flutey to Brive, along with wing Tom Voyce's decision to join Gloucester, by convincing Varndell to leave Leicester and Kefu to quit Castres and move across the Channel.
