Borthwick set for his second tough mission
23 Mar 2009England captain Steve Borthwick, having helped turn his team's Six Nations season around, must now try to stabilise a Saracens club, reeling from the departure of Eddie Jones and facing wholesale changes to their squad.
Brendan Venter will take over as director of rugby next season and has informed up to 18 players they have to leave the club which lost 46-16 at Leicester at the weekend.
Joint club skipper Borthwick said: "I am emotionally involved in any team and you have to credit Eddie and the rest of the management who have been excellent in the situation. They know I had to focus on England."
