Hatton: I’ll hang up gloves after Mayweather rematch

25 Mar 2009

Ricky Hatton wants to finish his career by fighting Floyd Mayweather Jnr again.

Former IBF light-welterweight champion Hatton, who faces Manny Pacquiao in May, plans to fight just three more times, and wants a finale against the American who outclassed him in December, 2007.

Retired Mayweather is said to be eyeing a comeback and Hatton said: "I'd like to finish the year off fighting Juan Manuel Marquez. He's No2 in the pound-for-pound ratings and in doing that and establishing myself as number one, I'd like to think I'd get a rematch with Floyd Mayweather."

in order to be the man, you have to beat THE MAN. you haven't proven yourself yet mr. hatton. and besides, you were like a kid when you fought the Money Floyd Mayweather. dont let yourself happen again against the Pac, or your butt will be kicked, AGAIN.

Only in your dreams. On May 2 you'll face your nightmare. All your dreams will go puff after Pacman demolishes you in 5 rounds.

i think the hitman has a good idea, after pacquiao next opponent juan manuel marquez coz he cannot win the number 1 p4p (pacquiao) automatically go down to number 2 p4p (juanma m) right! regarding second fight to "pretty money" i suggest you better retire because if you do so.. you've got your 3 losses on your resume.
