Deng realises dream as Jazz festival heads to 02
25 Mar 2009Luol Deng's Chicago Bulls will take on Utah Jazz in a pre-season match at London's O2 Arena on 6 October.
London-raised Deng, who played a key role in helping Great Britain qualify for September's EuroBasket, admits the game will hold special significance for him.
He said: "It has always been my dream to play for the Bulls in London. They were the team I supported as a kid."
It is the third year in a row London will host an NBA pre-season match. New Jersey Nets edged Miami Heat 94-92 last year while Boston Celtics beat Minnesota Timberwolves 92-81.
