Millwall are putting their faith in Gary Alexander and Jason Price as they continue to push for promotion.

Alexander scored twice and strike partner Price netted the other in a 3-1 win over Walsall that keeps them in third place.

Manager Kenny Jackett said: "It would be lovely for them to continue that partnership and hopefully let it grow."

Dean Morgan scored a 25th minute winner for Leyton Orient at Cheltenham and manager Geraint Williams said: "Dean came on last week and did well so he earned his chance here and has taken it."

Brentford's promotion charge took a slight knock as Bradford managed a last minute equaliser, but Bees goalscorer Billy Clarke said: "It's in our own hands, we just need to concentrate on ourselves."

Barnet won 2-0 at Gillingham but manager Ian Hendon is uncertain over the future of goalscorers Paul Furlong and John O'Flynn. Hendon said: "I'm not sure if Gary or Paul will be here next season."

Dagenham & Redbridge saw their play-off hopes fade in a 2-1 defeat at Exeter.

Ben Strevens scored their lone goal.
