John Terry sees red after Liverpool talk him into a ban

Chelsea captain John Terry today blasted Liverpool players for getting him booked so he will be suspended for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
Several Liverpool players, including Xabi Alonso, surrounded referee Claus Bo Larsen after Terry collided with goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
Although the England centre-half had tried to win the ball he was given his third booking of the tournament, which triggered an automatic one-game ban.
Terry, who exchanged angry words with Steven Gerrard, accused Rafael Benitez's side of double standards because in 2005 they complained about a dive by Eidur Gudjohnsen, which led to Alonso being suspended for the second leg of the semi-final. Terry said: “I said to Stevie I was disappointed to see his team-mates surrounding the referee demanding a yellow card. I felt I went for the ball, that's all I ever do as a player.
“I spoke to Reina after the game and he said it wasn't a yellow. He was honest with me, I don't mind that. But on the pitch it's disappointing. He knew I was on a yellow and he was asking for it.
“When Alonso got booked a few years ago he was crying after the game. This is the same situation and it's very disappointing when fellow professionals ask for the yellow card.”
Gerrard could also miss the second leg if a scan today reveals he has suffered another groin injury. The captain left the pitch in pain, sparking concerns at Anfield that he has had a recurrence of the problem which needed surgery last August.

Here we go again the same old John Terry, who is always crying when booked. It was a foul on the goalkeeper, who had control of the ball before "nutter" Terry(clone from Ron "Chopper" Harris) fouled him. Well do the ref and hope the Blues win sweet F.A. Come on you SPURS

This booking may actually have helped Chelsea's cause; JT misses a game in which we hold a 3-1 lead so he's free for a possible semi versus Barcelona.
