Back of the net: Jason Price scored Millwall's second against Peterborough

Kenny Jackett hails his on-loan strike force

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett believes he has found the strike duo to fire the Lions to promotion.

Jackett was again impressed by the way on-loan Jason Price and Gary Alexander combined as his side moved to within three points of second-placed Peterborough after beating their promotion rivals 2-0.

He said: "I thought the front two worked exceptionally hard. I have been looking for a front two and I am pleased with the way things are going between Gary and Jason."

Millwall went ahead when David Martin converted a first half penalty and Price secured the win just before the hour.

Jackett added: "We have three games left and it would be disappointing if we missed out on automatic promotion if we won them all."
