Chelsea target Heurelho Gomes to replace Petr Cech

Petr Cech's future as Chelsea's first-choice keeper is in doubt with the club planning to make a move to sign Heurelho Gomes from Tottenham in the summer.
The 26-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004, only signed a new five-year contract last year but is in the worst form of his career and has conceded seven goals in his last two games.
Chelsea have made signing another keeper one of their main priorities for the close-season after Carlo Cudicini joined Spurs on a free transfer in January, and Standard Sport understands that the Blues are keen on Cudicini's team-mate Gomes, who has impressed in the last few months after overcoming a difficult start to his first season in English football.
Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink, who is advising the club on who they should buy even though he has yet to commit his long-term future to Stamford Bridge, rates the Brazil international highly, having signed him in 2004 when in charge at PSV.
Last November, Hiddink said: “Gomes is exceptional and was almost single-handedly responsible for getting PSV to the Champions League semi-finals. He is not afraid and has fantastic reflexes.”

For me Petr Čech is simply the best goalkeeper since he played for Sparta Prague. I dont understand why Blues wants Gomes. Gomes played last matches well, but he cant not be good like Petr ČECH. Where does it say that Petr Cech is going to Tottenham????????? I read that Chelsea are interested in the Tottenham keeper Gomes,not the other way around, or am I missing something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I miss April 1st? Chelsea have conceded 20 goals in 32 league games this term - best in the Prem and Cech has played pretty much all of them.
