Ian Bell is told to prove worth at Test level
22 Apr 2009Ian Bell has found out he will get another chance to impress the England selectors after he was named in the Lions' team to face West Indies next week.
Other Test hopefuls featured in the squad include Samit Patel, Sajid Mahmood, Tim Ambrose and Rob Key, who will captain the side.
National selector Geoff Miller said: “The Lions squads feature players who display qualities that are capable of winning matches for England, so these games are very important.”
