Fit-again Cesc Fabregas gunning for Euro glory

Cesc Fabregas has revealed he is now fully fit and ready to fire Arsenal to Champions League glory.

The 21-year-old was thrust straight into regular first-team action earlier this month after spending nearly four months on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.

His latest outing came in Tuesday's 4-4 draw against Liverpool at Anfield and, despite the game being played at a frenetic pace throughout, the Spaniard believes he felt better than ever at the final whistle.

He said: “Physically I felt much better than the other games. I was putting pressure on Xabi Alonso all the time and on their centre-backs. I was running for the whole game and I didn't struggle in the last 20 minutes as I have been in all the rest of the games.

“Today is 20 days since I come back and I played six full games, so it is difficult.”
