David Di Michele's Upton Park aims

28.04.09

David Di Michele is keeping his fingers crossed he can stay at West Ham next season.

The 33-year-old Italian striker has settled well following his loan move from Torino last September.

"I would love to stay at West Ham for a few more years," said Di Michele. "I feel good at this club and I really hope Torino will let me stay.

"But in football you never know what can happen. It is up to the two teams to find an agreement."

Eighth-placed West Ham are just two points off a Europa League spot and Di Michele said: "To qualify for that would be unbelievable."
