Silvinho backing Barcelona to find goals at Stamford Bridge

Silvinho has insisted Barcelona will have the last laugh over Chelsea's defensive tactics and is confident they will set up a dream Champions League Final with his former club Arsenal.

The 35-year-old is set to start for Barcelona at left-back in the second leg of the semi-final at Stamford Bridge next week due to an injury to Rafael Marquez and Carles Puyol being suspended.

Chelsea have come under fire since the goalless draw in the first leg at the Camp Nou, but the Brazilian is confident Barca will not be shut out a second time.

He said: "There is only one way we can play. We know it is not easy to play at Stamford Bridge, I have experienced that before with Arsenal, but I am sure we will score and then it will be better for us.

"We weren't expecting Chelsea to play so deep, it was hard for us. If we score a goal there we will be in the better position."

Meanwhile, referee Wolfgang Stark, who was criticised by Barcelona players for not awarding them a penalty or sending off Michael Ballack in the first match against Chelsea, has been backed by UEFA president Michel Platini.

Stark said: "After the match, a delegate of UEFA told me and my assistants that Michel Platini was very satisfied with our work."
