Gunners prepare to fight Cesc Fabregas’ corner over spit row

Arsenal are today planning to fight the Football Association's decision to charge Cesc Fabregas for spitting.
Fabregas was charged with two counts of improper conduct after coming on to the pitch from the stands after the final whistle and allegedly spitting at Hull assistant boss Brian Horton as the pair went down the tunnel following the Gunners' FA Cup fifth-round victory at Emirates Stadium on 17 March.
Arsenal officials are putting together a stern defence of their captain ahead of the 12 May deadline. A club spokesperson said: “We have been asked for a response and we are in the process of compiling the necessary paperwork.”
Fabregas denies the accusations, and said: “I don't really know what I've been charged with. Eight players were on the pitch as well, so then everyone should be suspended. If I'm suspended for spitting, my heart and my mind will be well because I did nothing wrong.”

The FA has gone to far on this issue and should have made a stop and rejected the claim. This is a waste of time and money for the club. The FA should have sent Brown to Arsenal to settle this matter.
I can assure you that Arsenal would have given the full report, but as I see it Brown only wanted to take away the attention from him for another bad behaviour by him and his staff. In fact they have been charged.
Why is the FA handling this trivial matter now when All at Arsenal are concentrating on the champions league match.
