Thierry Henry's facing late fitness battle
5 May 2009Thierry Henry is in a race against time to prove his fitness before Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola names his team to face Chelsea.
Henry is set to fly to London today with the rest of the squad despite being troubled with a knee injury he sustained against Real Madrid on Saturday.
The striker was unable to train yesterday and the club privately briefed reporters that he was going to be on the sidelines for two weeks only to backtrack hours later.
The French international is still going to struggle to make the first team and will require a late fitness test.
Guardiola is already without defensive duo Rafael Marquez, due to a knee problem, and Carles Puyol, who is suspended.
