James Henry wants Wembley gift for Millwall

James Henry is determined to give Millwall the perfect leaving present by firing them into the League One play-off final at Wembley, writes Ian Winrow.

The 19-year-old has played a key role in Millwall's promotion bid since arriving on loan from Reading in February.

But his three-month stay runs out after the two-legged semi-final with Leeds and the winger will return to the Madejski Stadium no matter what the outcome is against the Yorkshire side.

Henry said: "The fact I have to go back to Reading won't affect me at all.

"I will be giving 100 per cent, without a doubt. I go into every game with the same attitude. I can't play if we get to Wembley but it would be fantastic to help the team get there and help Millwall get promoted."

Henry says the players are relishing facing Leeds at The Den on Saturday and at Elland Road five days later.

He said: "Sometimes we've found that when we've played against the bigger teams the atmosphere is good and that helps lifts you to the level you need to be at."

Good player, brilliant on his day.

Is going to need to help defending, rather than just waiting to attack against leeds though...
