More trouble for Leicester as Julien Dupuy eyes French move

Leicester, reeling from the loss of injured Toby Flood for six months, are in danger of seeing scrum-half Julien Dupuy move back to France.

Dupuy, a reliable goal kicker who has a key role in tomorrow's semifinal with Bath, is a target for big spending Stade Francais.

Tigers head coach Richard Cockerill insists the 25-year-old will see out the final season of his contract but Dupuy could make the move because his girlfriend is unhappy in this country.

It is another headache for Cockerill, who will be without Flood for six months as the England No10 will undergo surgery to repair the Achilles injury he suffered during last week's Heineken Cup semi-final victory over Cardiff.

Meanwhile, England hooker Lee Mears is desperate to end 13 years of hurt for Bath and land the Guinness Premiership title.

The club have not been champions since 1996 and Mears said: "It's about time we won it again."
