UKA secure sponsorship extension

UK Athletics has secured a four-year extension to its sponsorship deal with SPAR UK.
The deal will see SPAR UK continue to back UKA's sprints programme until 2013.
The tie-up began in 2004 and the programme has helped to bring through athletes including Craig Pickering and Martyn Rooney.
UKA chief executive Niels de Vos said: "The deal is a further illustration of the strong position the sport finds itself in as it builds for the London Olympics and Paralympics in 2012 and beyond."
