Sulley Muntari
Wanted man: Sulley Muntari could link up with Harry Redknapp again

Harry Redknapp is confident of Sulley Muntari deal

Tottenham are growing in confidence they will succeed in signing midfielder Sulley Muntari from Inter Milan in the summer.

Manager Harry Redknapp has made buying the Ghana international one of his top priorities as he continues to look to add a more physical edge to the squad.

Redknapp signed the 24-year-old from Udinese Calcio for £7million when he was Portsmouth boss in 2007. He then sold him to Inter for £12.7m a year later.

The Spurs boss is determined to work with him again, although he is aware players will have to be sold to raise funds as Standard Sport revealed in January.

A number of players are fearing for their future at the club, with Didier Zokora already thinking of leaving after being dropped in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Stephen Appiah admits he's still frustrated over his treatment in January, when Spurs were considering signing him as a free agent.

The 28-year-old went to White Hart Lane on trial after he was released by Fenerbahce last year due to a long-standing knee problem.

He lost his patience after Spurs stalled on the move and said: "I was originally meant to stay for five days.

"But, after that, the club wanted me to stay for another three weeks. After that, they asked I stay for a month. I then decided it was better to try elsewhere."

Good riddance to Zokora anyway, if someone will buy him. Palacios is far superior to him as a midfield terrier type and has a much better allround game including the fact he can pass the ball which Zokora is poor at. Only thing lacking for Palacios is his reckless shooting, but at least he gets some on the target, which Zokora can't even manage. If we could get an attacking midfielder next level up from Jenas we'd have an excellent midfield - Palacios, Modric, Lennon - how about Tevez! We can dream!

What with Redknapp junior coming back "to help the kids " and now Sulley on the radar! Sol on a free at the end of the year. Mr Levy will soon be called Sir Daniel and we can all claim back our expenses on our uefa cup campaign. We might even get invited to dinner on the South Coast!
