Crystal Palce are set to be pipped to the signature of Lee Croft by Derby County.
The Norwich winger, who is available on a free transfer, had been one of the names on Palace boss Neil Warnock's summer shopping list but Croft is reluctant to move to London.
Derby are also able to offer more substantial terms to Croft, 23, so Warnock could instead turn his attention to Canaries team-mate Wes Hoolahan.
