Christine Ohuruogu enjoys the perfect return

12 Jun 2009

Olympic champion Christine Ohuruogu breezed to victory in her first 400metres race since last September at the Montreuil International in Paris.

The Londoner eased home in 51.14sec, which was a second and a half faster than her nearest rival, and her time on a cold night bodes well for the defence of her world title in Berlin in August.

Dwain Chambers overcame a poor start last night to power through and easily win the 100m ahead of fellow Briton Harry Aikines-Aryeetey in a time of 10.17sec.
