Tottenham interested in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is understood to be one of the players Tottenham are looking at ahead of the new Barclays Premier League season.
Huntelaar, the Holland international, scored eight goals in 20 appearances after arriving at the Bernabeu from Ajax but was also left out of their Champions League squad in favour of Lassana Diarra.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who is also believed to be monitoring Ruud van Nistelrooy at Real, has been tipped to revamp his squad after taking them from bottom to eighth in the table in their last campaign.
Sulley Muntari's agent has claimed Spurs had an offer turned down for the Inter Milan midfielder, who worked with Redknapp at Portsmouth.
"It is true Tottenham made an offer, but Sulley remains at Inter as they declined it," said Fabien Piveteau on setanta.com.
"He is very happy to play and win for Inter, and wants to continue to do so. He only came to Inter last year on a four-year contract."
Redknapp, meanwhile, believes Wolves, Birmingham and Burnley will provide tough challenges next season after promotion.
"They are all big clubs with great traditions and they will all be determined to stay up," said Redknapp.
"I would never write them off. I remember coming up with Portsmouth and everyone thought we would go straight back down but Pompey are now established in the Premier League.
"They've all got clever managers who know what they are doing and Birmingham are clearly going to have a go - they've just paid a lot of money for Christian Benitez from Ecuador, who is a good player."

Good move harry; crouch works well with defoe, proven on international and domestic level. huntelaar he's of to germany; villa want jenas; cool take young in player cash deal; with crouch, coming to spurs? bent to sunderland next stop; we still need to secure a future centre back the sheffield utd lads are pure class and have a great future at a top club, SPURS ARE THAT CLUB.
time to get the pen to paper and start getting in and out players, as the season is just around the corner, sure crouch will fit in straight away, young? would have no problem, he just takes defences apart every week. so lets go for it, all worth the money long term.
