West Ham in Inter Milan striker talks

West Ham officials are in Italy attempting to finalise the signing of Chilean striker Luis Jimenez from Inter Milan.
Chief executive Scott Duxbury and the club's technical director Gianluca Nani hope to agree a loan deal for the 24-year-old. West Ham could also make a move for Inter striker Robert Acquafresca, who they plan to watch during the European Under-21 Championships.
Manchester City have made an enquiry about West Ham centre-half Matthew Upson while the Upton Park club are interested in City striker Daniel Sturridge, also wanted by Chelsea.
