Manchester City close to £25m Carlos Tevez deal

22 Jun 2009

Carlos Tevez is reported to be in line to join Manchester City in a £25.5million deal after Chelsea backed out of hijacking the move for the Manchester United star.

City won the battle after offering Tevez a five-year, £100,000-a-week deal. Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz was having a medical today ahead of an £18m move to City.

Adrian is from the United heartlands. Naturally any comment about the Holy City would be negative.

Robinno and Tevez, 2 major sulkers, do don't score many goals, then give Hughes 6 months into the season!
City went down the pan, when signed Robinho..
