Staying put: Felipe Melo doesn't want to leave Fiorentina

Felipe Melo snubs Arsenal as he says his future lies with Fiorentina

Arsenal transfer target Felipe Melo says he wants to stay at Fiorentina.

The Italian club confirmed that Arsenal had bid for the midfielder but that they would only let him go if Gunners right-back Emmanuel Eboue was part of the deal.

Melo has just signed a oneyear contract extension which includes a £21million release clause. The 25-year-old said: "My intention is to return to Florence the moment my summer holiday is over. I am very happy there. I can say that only God knows what my future holds, if the club decides to sell me elsewhere."

Funny how all Arsenal players are on the verge of moving to Spain, but any ofour targets don't want to come to Arsenal. I think the ManU loving press are trying their hardest to undermine the opposition!!!
