Tyson Gay confident he'll bolt home in Rome
10 Jul 2009Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell will be able to test their world championship credentials against one another in Rome tonight.
World champion Gay and Powell were overshadowed when Usain Bolt clinched the 100metres in a world record 9.69sec at the Beijing Games.
Gay (hamstring) and former record holder Powell (ankle) have both recovered from injuries and are determined to make an impression at the Golden League meeting.
American Gay said: "I'm 100 per cent healthy and I give myself a 100 per cent chance to win."
