Everton are expecting to have completed the paperwork for Brazilian striker Jo's loan to allow the 22-year-old to play in tonight's friendly at Bury.
Jo has been training with the Everton squad in Scotland all week, and the details of his year-long loan from Manchester City are being tied up today.
Everton also hope to have American teenager Anton Peterlin on show at Gigg Lane.
The 22-year-old midfielder's move from USA club Ventura County Fusion has been completed - and he is now awaiting international clearance.
He has Danish and Slovenian parents and holds dual American and Danish nationality, meaning a work permit is not an issue.
He said: "I've been blown away by everything at the club - because compared to the States, it is a lot different. My hope is to make my way steadily and show the manager I can do well."
