Wiggins to release blood testing history in bid to prove he is clean

29 Jul 2009

Bradley Wiggins will publish his entire blood biological passport from the last two years to crush any suspicion over his fourth-place finish at the Tour de France.

Wiggins exceeded all expectations in equalling the best finish by a Briton in cycling's most prestigious event with fourth spot overall.

The 29-year-old expects his team Garmin-Slipstream to release his testing history by the end of the week and may yet make all his results from the last decade public.

"We had a test on Saturday that should be back soon and I expect everything to go online within the next few days," he said.

"Once the last set of bloods are in they'll release the whole thing for the last couple of years.

"I came from nowhere on the Tour and everyone knows where it's been with blood doping.

"I don't want there to be any suspicion or doubt that what I did was natural. I have nothing to hide and I want this transparency.

"If more people did that fans would have a lot more respect for our achievements.

"British Cycling have all my blood tests results from the age of 19 and I might even release everything from the last 10 years."

That sounds pretty desperate. Looking at the history of cycling and what has happened you can't blame that this is suspicious.
Wiggings comes out of the blue and climbs mountains as if he is a mountain goat.
Also I see a lot of resemblance with Ulrich looking at the way he cycles, great time trail cyclist for years and suddenly he can climb also.....
