GB's relay team set Euro swim record

Britain's women's 4x200metres relay squad swam a European record time as they qualified fastest for tonight's final at the World Championships in Rome.
Caitlin McClatchey, Jazmin Carlin, Hannah Miley and Rebecca Adlington came home in 7min 49.04sec, which was 0.72 sec inside the previous best set by Italy at last year's Olympics.
Jo Jackson, the 400m freestyle silver medallist, was rested after finishing fourth in the 200m last night and is set to come back in, with Miley under threat after swimming the slowest leg.
The team will be looking to put their Olympic nightmare behind them tonight, having failed to make it through the heats in Beijing.
