Massa ready for his release from hospital

31 Jul 2009

Felipe Massa will leave hospital on Monday and fly home to Brazil, his personal doctor said today.

The Ferrari driver has been in a Budapest hospital since fracturing his skull in an accident during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday.

Dino Altmann said: "Felipe is doing very well and we have already decided to go back to Sao Paulo on Monday."

we are happy to hear that all is good and you are on your way home. But the situation is that MS has taken your seat. Thats going to be a bigger issue than the one you have overcome. Lets hope KR is going to WRC or else that "guy" will be hard to get rid off. Best wishes Mr Massa, you are a champ and long may you be a (gentleman) racer. There are a few of you left. (Just see what we are getting to replace you)
