Cruel cut just a joke for winner Woods
3 Aug 2009Tiger Woods returned to form with victory in the Buick Open and then joked about his nightmare at Turnberry.
The world No1 finished three strokes ahead of Roland Thatcher, John Senden and Greg Chalmers at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Michigan.
It gave him his fourth title of the year and saw him bounce back from last month's Open where he missed the cut for only the fifth time in his career.
"It's nice to come back after my two playing days in Europe," joked Woods. "I got two more days to practice for this event."
