Carlo Ancelotti: happy with his squad at Chelsea

Carlo Ancelotti: I wouldn’t swap my squad for any other

Carlo Ancelotti today admitted winning the Premier League will be tougher than finishing top in Serie A but insisted he wouldn't swap Chelsea's squad with anyone else's.

Ancelotti won just one championship during eight years as manager at AC Milan and will begin his first title campaign in this country tomorrow when his new side face Hull.

The 49-year-old believes the Premier League is of a much higher standard than its Italian counterpart and could be a scrap between as many as six teams.

He said: "In England it is more competitive. In Italy three or four teams can win but here I can see more teams that can win.

"It is a very competitive championship. It is not difficult to say that Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal will be fighting with us, but I want to see Manchester City - I'm curious about them and also Aston Villa because they were very good last year.

"My ambition is to stay competitive until the end of the season in all the competitions. We have to arrive well in March-April and if we have the strength and the mental attitude we can win at the end.

"To win a season in England is not easy for every team. The difficulty for us starts tomorrow and every game we will have to overcome the difficulty."

Chelsea have failed to sign any marquee players this summer but the Blues boss feels his are more than a match for the rest of the field.

He said: "I would not swap my players for anyone else for sure. I'm very satisfied with the quality of players. They have technical and human quality. It's impossible to say my best 11 in this team because there are more players and I want to see them all for the season. I don't want to play the same 11 every match, I want to change and use all the players for the season."

The Italian is Chelsea's fifth manager in the last two years but does not think that places an extra weight on his shoulders. He said: "This is my first season outside of Italy and I want to do well with my team. I am happy, not
