Warrington break bank to secure Richie Myler

Warrington will today make Richie Myler the most expensive teenager in rugby league after agreeing a transfer fee with Salford for the England scrum-half.
They will unveil the 19-year-old at a press conference at the Halliwell Jones Stadium this afternoon, although Salford stole their thunder by announcing the deal yesterday.
The Reds are thought to have secured a fee in excess of £200,000, which will make it the biggest transfer since Wigan paid £450,000 for Bradford prop Stuart Fielden in 2007. The previous record transfer for a teenager was the £140,000 paid by Wigan in 1993 to Wakefield for Nigel Wright, who is now on the Wolves' backroom staff.
