Britain on the brink of EuroBasket exit
8 Sep 2009Britain face world basketball champions Spain tonight with only a slim chance of making it out of the EuroBasket group stages.
Last night's 72-59 loss to Slovenia in Poland, coupled with Serbia's shock 66-57 victory over Spain, leave Britain needing a major upset to stay in the tournament basketball's equivalent of the football's European Championships.
Coach Chris Finch said: It doesn't get any easier, but we knew the schedule that's not changed. What's important is that we stay committed to what we want to do.
