Tough talk: Harlequins’ Nick Evans

Harlequins must get ruthless, says Nick Evans

Nick Evans has urged his Harlequins team to rediscover their clinical finishing against Toulouse on Saturday to keep their Heineken Cup dreams alive.

Quins lost their Pool Five opener to Cardiff 20-6 last weekend and now face one of the most powerful sides in Europe, highlighted by their 36-17 destruction of Sale Sharks.

Evans is calling on his team to show the form which, last season, saw them finish second in the Guinness Premiership and secure a "double" over Stade Francais as they powered into the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup. The fly-half said: "We definitely need to be more clinical because we butchered four or five try-scoring chances against Cardiff and that isn't something you would have seen from this team last season.

"No one is panicking and we know exactly what has to be done against a very good Toulouse team.

"This will be a really tough match but we showed against Stade last season that we're equipped to win these matches. The self belief we generated is still there."
