Denver Broncos aim higher after perfect start

20 Oct 2009

Denver Broncos' winning start to the season continued with a 34-23 victory over the San Diego Chargers last night, but coach Josh McDaniels insists his men can get even better.

Eddie Royal returned a kick-off and a punt for touchdowns as Denver joined Minnesota as the NFL's only teams with six straight wins.

"We're far from perfect, we know that," said McDaniels. "There's a lot of football still to be played.

"We have a lot of good guys who work hard and we've got a lot of guys who care about doing things the right way."

The last time Denver had a 6-0 start to a season was 1998, when they went on to win the Super Bowl.
