Tennis chiefs are investigating a match involving US Open runner-up Caroline Wozniacki that reportedly saw a flood of bets on her opponent even though the Dane was about to win in straight sets.
The world No6 was leading Anne Kremer 7-5, 5-0 when she retired with a leg injury from yesterday's first-round match at the Luxembourg Open. Wozniacki's father, Piotr, told his daughter at 3-0 in the second set to retire before winning and his comments were picked up by microphones.
