England and South Africa will play under the new decision review system in next month's Test series, it has been confirmed.
The International Cricket Council finally made it clear that the system, which made its international debut in the New Zealand-Pakistan Test series starting on Tuesday and currently in operation in the series between India and Australia, will be in place in South Africa too.
There had been a hitch over the home board's willingness to help fund the technology required.
The new system - including a maximum two unsuccessful challenges by either side in any innings - now appears set to be used universally.
